Two eyeing Texas House Speaker post
State Rep. Warren Chisum, a Republican from Pampa, said Tuesday that he’d decide before the November elections whether to challenge Texas House Speaker Joe Straus. State Rep. Leo Berman, a Tyler Republican, already has announced plans to run against Straus when lawmakers return to Austin in January.
