Moving to Jamaica with my best friend. Is it really what I’m expecting and what should i be expecting?
My best friend that is a guy and me really want to move to Jamaica in 6 years when were both 25. We’ve looked at the real estate and culture and things like that and we definitely had some of our good friends doubting us. I was just wondering if moving to Jamaica is what were expecting ?
You should spend at least 3 months in Jamaica before you make any decision. Going to Jamaica as a tourist is wonderful, sometimes you feel like you are rich, but if you live down there its a different story. It could be quite rough, things are expensive and crime is also a factor.
I am not detouring you from your plans but think about it.

What type of job do you plan to have?
Where in Jamaica do you plan to live?
Do you plan to assimilate with the Jamaican people?
There are some really nice places in Jamaica to live but it cost money. Other places you would not want to be left alone at night.
